Sandee Christiansen     Vocals/Keyboards

Sandee, who is married with 3 children ages 21, 10 and 8, lives in the far north-west suburbs, and has been singing since she was a little girl. Her first solo was at age 10 for the 5th grade play singing “Sunday in the City”. She grew up with her father being her main musical influence, pretending she was singing along with him while he performed. Even though she has been singing for fun since a child, it has only been in the past few years that she has branched out to become a member of a team of musicians who challenge and encourage her.  She would tell you that her keyboard skills are limited at best, especially compared to the uber talented men she plays music with, but that she does bring some nice “icing” to the layers of sound that OaD produces. Her music interests are very eclectic spanning from the 1920’s through today including many different genres.  Music is much like her favorite color; she refuses to settle for just one.

Sandee’s gear includes her God given vocal chords, a Yamaha S 90XS Keyboard, and Sennheiser Wireless Mic.

When not singing or playing music, Sandee juggles being a mom, wife, student, and Life Enrichment Manager for a Senior Living Facility. She has been an active member of her church and worship team, and loves the outdoors where she walks, rides bikes, and camps in the summer and fall months.

Sandee’s favorite OaD songs are “Make the Call”, “I Will Not Be Moved” and “Free Ride”, and a lot more because like she would say she just can’t settle for only one.
